3 dead, 1 wounded in suburban Bolingbrook
Update: Police said that a suspect in the shootings has been detained, but no additional information was provided.
BOLINGBROOK, Illinois - At least three people are dead, including one victim who police are calling a juvenile, and a fourth person is wounded after they were shot in suburban Bolingbrook on Sunday night.
The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. Sunday night on the 100 block of Lee Lane in southwest suburban Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Police were reportedly called to a home on the above block based on a report of a possible home invasion, according to WGNNews.
On arrival, officers reportedly found an adult woman, an adult man, and a juvenile girl who had been shot and were pronounced dead at the scene. Another adult woman has reportedly been taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.
Police said there is no one is in custody and they continue to investigate.
