In local house races, incumbents are ahead

Preliminary returns from the Chicago Board of Elections have incumbent
representatives Ken Dunkin and Annazette Collins in the lead.
With nearly 90 percent of precincts reporting in the 5th District, Dunkin has slightly less than a 1,000 vote lead over David Schroeder.
In the 10th District, Rep. Annazette Collins has a 717-vote margin over Jonathan Goldman.
And in the 9th District - an ope seat - Art Turner Jr., the son of the outgoing Rep. Art Turner, holds a comfortable lead over five challengers.
UPDATE 9:09 p.m.
John Burros has conceded to Turner in the 9th; the banquet waiter and investor has garnered nearly 20 percent of the vote so far.
